This bunky board is a 2" wood foundation wrapped in tan fabric, which is ideal for bunk beds, day beds, and beds that require a very low profile foundation to support the mattress. Using a foundation is equally as important as the mattress components. The mattress and foundation are engineered to work together to provide the proper support and comfort. The foundation fully supports the mattress and absorbs impact on the mattress, which helps to protect the mattress from unnecessary wear over its life. This mattress foundation is available in Twin, Full, Queen, E. King Split, and Cal. King Split.
